A breve alla Biennale di Venezia sarà presente il padiglione Israeliano incentrato sul tema della maternità. Molti artisti, tra cui noi, hanno aderito ad un appello per la sua esclusione visto quanto è successo e sta succedendo a Gaza. La Biennale ha risposto recentemente che non prenderà nessuna iniziativa nè in questo caso nè in altri casi (la protesta contro la presenza dell’Iran). Come di consueto, quindi, il Mercato (anche quello dell’arte) continua indifferente a tutto ciò che, nel reale, esce dalla sua rappresentazione spettacolare. Ma la guerra, le guerre, i crimini contro l’umanità esistono comunque.
Al di là dell’appello, che si può ancora sottoscrivere alla pagina che riportiamo sotto, la realtà cercherà di entrare nella Biennale. Seguite qua se volete aiutarla.

Vi invitiamo a condividere la posizione etica e politica espressa nella lettera aperta alla Biennale di Venezia e a far parte del nostro indirizzo. L’ANGA è un collettivo senza autori unici. Questa lettera aperta è firmata da tutti coloro che la sottoscrivono. Ci impegniamo a sostenere il potere dell’azione collettiva e i principi della responsabilità condivisa.”
At the Venice Biennale will be the Israeli pavilion focusing on the theme of motherhood. Many artists, including us, have joined an appeal for its exclusion given what has happened and is happening in Gaza. The Biennial recently responded that it will not take any action either in this case or in other cases (the protest against Iran’s presence). As usual, then, the Market (including the art market) continues indifferent to everything in the real world that comes out of its spectacular representation. But war, wars, crimes against humanity exist.
